Coronavirus, Covid-19, is reshaping our world, at an alarming rate, in ways that are affecting all of us in our social and economic lives.


The world will not be the same again, at least in the short term. Covid-19 has set the world racing to find ways and means to stem the tragic and deathly walk of this dreaded virus.


Scientists, doctors, and experts in a various disciplines are overworked, overwhelmed, and very concerned about our wellbeing, in their quest to find immediate treatments, and, eventually, to find a vaccine that can be used to eradicate Covid-19. 


It is a time for all of us, regardless of race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, political affiliations, economic and social status, and different lifestyles, to come together, to reach out to our fellow human beings, to love and care for each other. It is a time when all nations have to work together, because we are all affected. If not, then, we will all be consumed.


Let us take the recommended precautions, such as social distancing, isolation and washing of hands, wearing masks and using gloves, being very mindful, though, of cross contamination. 


As community organizations that are very concerned about your well being and welfare, we are happy to join this effort to keep all of us healthy and alive. We are all together, united as one, in this struggle to stay safe. WE ARE THE WORLD.

THE PANGS OF DEATH

Death is ever present, and  like a dark specter of doom, it hovers above and around us, waiting in the shadows to attack and devastate. It is envious of birth, which brings joy and happiness to us. Envious of our struggles down paths of thorns and roses.It follows us, breaching our defenses when and where we least expect it.
