 THE IMPACT OF INTERNET RADIO STATIONS 

In recent times there has been a rapid progression of internet radio stations by all and sundry. You really don't need any special, or, intense training and technical skills to set one up. The tools are easily accessible to anyone who has the inclination and money to set up shop and broadcast out of their room, basement, attic, or, garage. These stations could range from dull and drab to fancy and glamorous. I really do not know the efficacy of these fly by night radio stations but from a layman point of view, and, from discussions with many DJs and broadcasters,  I have become  very sceptical about their listenership. Of course, it has been pointed out that there are such stations that attract thousands of listeners. I agree, but these have been initiated by big, well established and recognized  national and international broadcasters. 


Facebook has become an advertising and broadcasting board for many of these fly by night stations and, quite frankly, they  are a painful provocation and distraction. Many keep bombarding the walls and pages of well intentioned Facebook users, in an effort to sell their stations. Many of these people do not reach out to these Facebook users to establish a good and workable social media relationship. 


I will help to promote you if you help me! We are in this together and we have to reach out to each other, in whatever business we are pursuing. I cannot make my page and wall a poster board for all and sundry. I have some good broadcasters and artists who have been good to me and I will continue to work with them. So, if you do not see your posts on my page, or, wall,  know that we have much more to do together.

THE PANGS OF DEATH

Death is ever present, and  like a dark specter of doom, it hovers above and around us, waiting in the shadows to attack and devastate. It is envious of birth, which brings joy and happiness to us. Envious of our struggles down paths of thorns and roses.It follows us, breaching our defenses when and where we least expect it.
