CHOICES

 CHOICES -  YOUR INALIENABLE RIGHT

We have compromised our freedom and liberty to dance to the tune of the pied piper! It may sound bane and incomprehensible, but its hard, gut renching reality, It brings into focus the age old principle of a basic concept of life, the art of the deal, or, very plainly put, the scientific throw of the dice; the  inherent concept of making a choice.


Life is about choices, and the uncanny ability to find the value of an unknown quality, or, attribute. And this is what we all struggle for. This is what we all seek, and expend our energies and internal, all pervading, spiritual light, to find solace, fulfillment, and a sense of achievement.


We live in times when there is a preponderance of issues that weigh heavily on our conscience and thought processes. Are we liberal, or, conservitive! Do we support change, or, stability! Are we seekers of enlightenment, or, acceptance! Do we trust the establishment, or, do we seek reform! These are only some of the turbulent tribulations that storm our sensibilities, and, oftentimes, leave us in mayhem and disarray. 


We are, inherently, and by constitutional decree,  free to make choices, regardless if they lead us to doom, or, glory. We will be judged, eventually, by the  choices we make, as was the case of Adam and Eve. But many of us will be fooled by the vices and lies of our brothers and soulmates.


We have the right and freedom to make choices. Choices are the intrinsic ingredients of our karmic existence. It will determine our cosmic journey and make, or break  our eternal journey. Do not be fooled by the mischievous naysayers, and those who want to trample on your freedom! Chart your own course! Support your intuitive impulses, but stay within societal norms and mores! Do this and the light you seek will be revealed.

FIRERASS  Harry Bissoon 2/13/2026 Mabel, up before sunrise, long before the cock, Natty, crows.  In haste, amidst hazy and foggy mist, she pushes herself to limits anew, to meet deadline, daily vows,   The light shines through neighba Aunty Breto's windows, in an eerie brightness.  It flashes,dances,and speeds into the still darkness,  Look! Mabel laments! She gone again! To roam and suck blood, before light approaches! Firerass she is! Firerass, oh god, is Breto, a never-ending nighttime seeker of gourmet secrets.  Nay,she cannot be. THE PANGS OF DEATH

Death is ever present, and  like a dark specter of doom, it hovers above and around us, waiting in the shadows to attack and devastate. It is envious of birth, which brings joy and happiness to us. Envious of our struggles down paths of thorns and roses.It follows us, breaching our defenses when and where we least expect it. Maybe this is why some of us celebrate death and mourn the coming of new life. Maybe this is why some of us glorify death and its painful throes of the unfettered release of our souls to be free of the agonizing clutches of life.
