DUST IN THE WIND
DUST IN THE WIND

I sit here and ponder with great consternation at life, and wonder about the deep mysteries that pluck at our strings of joy and sadness. I have seen so many deaths and occasions of sadness, that my constitution shudders in agony.
I have a strong attachment to the madrassi way of life that celebrates death and bemoans birth! Birth is a journey into calamity and suffering. Death releases us from this bondage and leads us into bliss and happiness. Do we believe this? Its all depends on how we were molded and fashioned.
I have followed many enlightening sages, but none can fully answer me. Yes, I agree that faith and belief, hope and grace, can provide solace and contentment.
But are we animals of the unknown? Are we just dust floating in the ether, without any direction? Are we caught in a crucible of destruction?
We suffer pandemics and maladies of incurable proportions. And we still persevere, under conditions of unimaginable parameters.
I desperately seek, on a daily basis, answers to a dilemma that overshadows us with seemingly, inextricable
and unstoppable waves of acrimony and destruction.
In the end, death conquers and everything suffers in its path.
Friends, life is wholesome and satisfying, full of goodness, grace, and love, but that is all we have, so relish what you have.
